I presented my work with Prof. Robert C. Viesca at the SCEC Annual Meeting 2021 in form of an electronic poster.

In this contribution, we studied the onset and arrest of aseismic slip in response to fluid injection. Our findings indicate that the arrest time of aseismic slip after stopping fluid injection scales with the pressurization duration and highly depends on the background stress field. Critically stressed faults will slip in an aseismic way much longer than marginally pressurized fault after pressurization.
